"Expressive arts or creative arts is a form of therapy that connects everyone with his or her innate ability to imagine and create. The process of creation is emphasized over the final product. No art experience is necessary! I enjoy working with people who are sometimes afraid of doing art. I specialize in activities that unblock and help participants of all ages reconnect to artful expression, aesthetics, and beauty. My sessions begin with a relaxation and mindfulness exercise. Then I introduce a topic with content to inspire. We play with the materials and close with sharing and reflection. Together we discover the symbolism and the 'ah ha' moments that bring change and healing to our lives."
